Sorry to hear about your mom.I had no idea.I am sorry also that you are down.Take care of you and the rest will fall into place.Do what is good for you and your family and trust in God to lead the way.Take care.Much love to you.
I was wondering what your next step in the process is. ** we fill out and mail in the I800 and I864 for each child. We await approval from the US, then our lawyer in Bulgaria takes it to court there. In about 3-5 months we travel to bring them home. Our trip will be short, only about 4 or 5 days as both girls are in Sofia which shortens things a little bit.
How long did it take from your actual commitment to the girls to traveling on the first trip? Actually it took us almost a year! But our HS was finally done in August, that is what took so long. So from August to Jan. for trip one would be the most accurate measurement. [5 months]
How long is the flight? We live in Ks. We flew to Chicago and then from there to Germany... it was 8 1/2 hrs. there and on the way home 10 hours because it was a different airport. We flew Lufthansa. They are a WONDERFUL airline!!!
Where did you stay while in Bulgaria? We stayed at Hotel Budapest in Sofia, which most of Tonis family do. It is very nice, and the staff all speak at least some english.
How was the food? We mostly ate at the hotel. The food was good, not fantastic, but pretty good and normal. We ordered pizza delivered to the hotel one night wiht the help of the staff. It was very good... no sauce. :)
I know so many ?s but I am trying to get my husband to commit. The more info the better!

I am a proud stay-at-home mom of four hoodlums and wife to "Big Daddy," who works hard every day so we can all stay home and be crazy. In my past life, I was a public school teacher. I am now the teacher, maid, events planner, chef and taxi driver for my four fabulous kids. 3 are homegrown and 1 we adopted in Russia, and brought home in December of 2005. We have a crazy schedule which revolves around the kids many activities and trying to get to the beach whenever possible. We are lucky to have added our rescue-dog Luna to our crew last year. Stay tuned for more silly adventures.
