yuck! do you see these often? we have bull snakes where we live. they are not poisonous though. they can be big and ugly though.

Not anything I'd enjoy encountering!
BTW - feel free to try the candles. The big ones are much easier than small votives, as with the little ones you burn your hand! Just my helpful hint.
